How much does moving cost in Fujairah?
It depends on how much furniture there is, which floor you are on, whether the lift is usable, where you are moving to, and how much of the packing you want us to handle. A studio in Al Faseel is a very different job from a villa in Dibba. Rather than guess over the phone we survey first — by WhatsApp video or at your door — and then give you one written price that stays the same on moving day.
Do you charge extra for crossing the mountains to Dubai or Sharjah?
No. This is the charge most people on the east coast get caught by, and we do not apply it. The full distance, including the Masafi crossing, is calculated into the quote before you accept it — so there is no mileage fee, fuel levy or travel surcharge added once the job is done.
Are you actually based on the east coast, or coming over from Dubai?
We work Fujairah as part of our regular coverage rather than as an occasional out-of-town trip, and our crew comes to you briefed on your home. That matters in practice: you are not fitted onto the end of someone else’s Dubai schedule, you are not told the crew is delayed on the other side of the mountains, and you are not quoted a premium for being far away.
Do you provide the packing materials, or do I buy them?
We bring everything and it is in the price: double-wall cartons, bubble wrap, stretch film, corner guards, mattress covers and wardrobe boxes. If you would rather pack some things yourself to keep the cost down, say so at the survey and we will price it that way.
How do you protect furniture on the mountain road and in the coastal humidity?
Two separate problems, both planned for. For the road, everything travels in closed insured trucks, strapped down with moving blankets between the pieces so nothing shifts or rubs on the descents, and fragile items are crated rather than just wrapped. For the coast, we make sure nothing is wrapped or boxed while it is still damp, use moisture protection on upholstery and wooden pieces, and dry outdoor furniture before packing it — salt air and sealed plastic are a bad combination over even a few days in storage.
Do you dismantle and reassemble the furniture?
Yes, and it is included. Beds, wardrobes, majlis seating, dining tables, desks, TV mounts and curtain rails are taken apart and put back together, with the screws bagged and taped to each piece so nothing goes missing between the two homes.
Do you cover Dibba, Al Aqah, Qidfa and the northern coast?
Yes, the whole east coast, along with Masafi and the mountain villages. The drive north is part of the job and is included in the quote rather than treated as an excursion. For the further villages it helps to give us a day or two of notice so we can put the right crew and truck size on it, but same-day and next-day jobs are often still possible — it is always worth calling to ask.
